I am a mom to the most beautiful little boy, a wife to a wonderful Hubby, a fur mommy to a crew of fur babies and a pediatric oncology nurse to some of the best kiddos on the planet. Spending time with my family is the best thing in the world. I couldn't ask for anything more then what I have already been blessed with.
I bought a new camera this week so now I am going to use it to the best of my ability. I've had it for 4 days and have 4 pics from the 365 project to show you all. Enjoy!
All is well in our house, we are just super busy as usual! Little man is growing like a weed. We've packed up all his newborn and 0-3 month clothing and he is in size 2 diapers! We just adore him and love seeing him change from day to day. Hope everything is good with you all. :)
They grow too fast...way too fast. Tomorrow I go back to work, my 6 weeks home with my sweet bug are over and I am so sad about it. I hate the idea of having to leave him home with his Papa all night, I hate the idea that I have to come home and take care of him after working all night--I don't feel like I'll be as good of as Mom as he deserves (I hope I'm wrong on that one).
Being home with him has been amazing. I never thought I could love someone this much, when he hurts I physically hurt--he's my heart. We finished up my maternity leave with a bang, we brought the little bug to the beach for the first time, I loved bringing him there. I love that he is a second generation Floridian. :)
I have been a Mommy for 15 wonderful days and I could not be happy.
Our little man decided to make his appearance 2 weeks early on June 23, 2012 at 6:01 pm. He weighed 7 lbs 15 ounces and measured in at 19.75 inches. He is a dream, super sweet and I adore him, Phillip adores him, my whole family adores him--what is not to adore?
I'll eventually post little bug's birth story but for now I'll just post some pictures of my love.
I've been super duper incognito and that I know, maybe one day I'll explain the whose and what's as to why--but for now, I'll give just a little recap! Yesterday I had a fab day, the hubby and I drove down to Orlando, had our 3D/4D ultrasound, ate lunch at Cheesecake factory and shopped at both Ikea and Babies 'R Us. It was awesome. I'll post some pics from the ultrasound below, the food was fab and we bought lots of fun stuff. We bought, a new entertainment center, a chair for baby Colin's room, and lots of fun knick knack stuff!
On another note, I am reading the Shades of Grey Trilogy and OMG do I love it!!! It is so freaking good. It was a bit much at first because the sex scenes are OH so vivid but now I am really into it and loving it. I'll be starting the third book tonight.
School is almost over for the semester, one final to go--thank goodness.
We are slowly working on baby Colin's room, hopefully it'll get painted in the next month or so.
Other then all that, at my ultrasound yesterday, I was 29 weeks and little man's head measured 32 weeks and 4 days...great (not!). He was already tipping the scales at 3 lbs and 1 ounce so he is going to be a little moose. Oh and he is definitely still a he (you'll see that pic too). I can't wait to meet him! On to the good stuff, some pics of our little man:
