Go Gators!

My hubby to be is a Gator x2. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2006 and he is now a University of Florida employee! Yay! That means I am going to have a roomie again...weird. I am so freaking excited for him and so proud. We are actually going to live together, under one roof...ALL the time. (That will definitely take some getting used to.)

I have been a busy little Bee working my butt off in both the hospital and in wedding planning.

My job is challenging a bit more so then I thought it would be. It is sad. I know, I know, what did I expect working on a cancer floor, but I don't know. I had 6 patients the last 3 days that I worked and 4 out of 6 of them had stage 4 cancer, 1 was a new diagnosis (Leukemia) and 1 was just a normal patient. I definitely had one patient that I got a bit too attached to, but it is probably good that I had Sunday and Monday off because I needed to step back a bit. I head back to the hospital tomorrow and I hope that I have that same patient again, but I'll try to keep my distance. Unfortunately on my floor it is such a thin line between close and nurturing and too close. I'm a new nurse, I guess there is just a learning curve.

That's all I've got for you guys for now. I miss being on here on a regular basis--ah, one day again. :)

P.S. T-minus 5 days until Gator football season is in full swing again. I <3 the fall! Go gators!

I could never be a nurse for the exact reason you just stated. It's such a heartbreaking thing. I give you and all the other nurses out there major props!

That is very exciting you guys will be living together! Congrats to him on his job!
