Go Gators!

My hubby to be is a Gator x2. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2006 and he is now a University of Florida employee! Yay! That means I am going to have a roomie again...weird. I am so freaking excited for him and so proud. We are actually going to live together, under one roof...ALL the time. (That will definitely take some getting used to.)

I have been a busy little Bee working my butt off in both the hospital and in wedding planning.

My job is challenging a bit more so then I thought it would be. It is sad. I know, I know, what did I expect working on a cancer floor, but I don't know. I had 6 patients the last 3 days that I worked and 4 out of 6 of them had stage 4 cancer, 1 was a new diagnosis (Leukemia) and 1 was just a normal patient. I definitely had one patient that I got a bit too attached to, but it is probably good that I had Sunday and Monday off because I needed to step back a bit. I head back to the hospital tomorrow and I hope that I have that same patient again, but I'll try to keep my distance. Unfortunately on my floor it is such a thin line between close and nurturing and too close. I'm a new nurse, I guess there is just a learning curve.

That's all I've got for you guys for now. I miss being on here on a regular basis--ah, one day again. :)

P.S. T-minus 5 days until Gator football season is in full swing again. I <3 the fall! Go gators!

I'm Alive

(I definitely think that I have used this title far too often!)

Work is going well. I am officially a nurse, it is crazy and scary and exciting all at the same time. I am learning to balance 6 patients, sometimes 12 different doctors and a million different medications all at the same time. I'm getting there.

On to much more exciting stuff!

I got my wedding shoes. I am so excited they are fantastic. Here they are my beautiful Juicy Couture wedding shoes. I feel like I should have an alter to them. I <3 them! Without further ado, here they are:

Tulle Tuesday

I think that title is cute for a wedding post!

I have done a lot of the centerpieces up and finally got pictures of one of the vases that will sit on the guest tables. We will be using one large tall vase like the one shown here and then we will be using 2 4x4x4 cube vases on each table as well. These two stems are tied together with green floral wire as seen here...any advice on how to make it so you can't see it? Does it look fine like that? I will definitely do a pic up when I have everything done so you can see it all together. :)

New York City

My friend Lil Woman is super stoked about her tentative plans to head to New York City with her man for the holidays. I love New York City and I visited it in November of 2008 with my friends--so fun! I realized looking back that I never posted pictures from that trip and what a shame that is! Well here you are Lil Woman, I hope these help the trip excitement build! Enjoy.
