Home Sweet Home

Even though I own a house in GVille, my parent's home still feels like home to me. I think it may always feel that way. I drove down here while Prince Phillip slept, he had to work yesterday so we got on the road about 4ish and then arrived at my parent's place a little before 7. They made a super yummy dinner, they made me perogies and grilled zucchini and squash, and everyone else had chicken, pork or sausage with some perogies and veggies. No one else really ate veggies. I love veggies, Prince Phillip was sneaking his onto my plate. Silly people, veggies make you strong.

I went to the dermatologist today and she prescribed an oil and a spray for my scalp psoriasis. I had this weird thing on my knee and everyone kept telling me it was a wart and it wasn't--it is psoriasis, it is now on my scalp, inside my ears and on my knee. Hopefully once I get this breakout under control it wont pop up anywhere new...fingers crossed.

I am reading The Time Traveler's Wife and I've gotten into it, I couldn't sleep well last night so I read it until almost midnight and then got up about six this morning and read it some more. It's good...conceptually weird, but good. The last novel I finished was My Sister's Keeper, it was fantastic! Has anyone seen the movie? I'm planning on going to see it soon, I figure with the cancer cancer everywhere I shouldn't go with Phillip, so I might just be on my own.

Anyone have any good book recommendations?

I love veggies too. I made green beans for lunch the other day and that's what I ate.

Sorry about the scalp deal. At least you found out what can help it. Have fun at home and enjoy your fourth weekend.

I saw my sister's keeper- so freakin' sad. From what I've heard, it's nothing like the book. But take LOTS of Kleenex; don't wear any makeup; maybe don't even take Prince Phillip. Definitely want to read those two books though!

LOVEd My SIster's Keeper. But I will warn you...they totally and completely changed the ending in the movie. It made me mad. Another one of my favorite reads is Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Piccoult. It is one of the best books I've ever read, but sad. That seems to be an underlying theme in all her books!

Have a great holiday weekend.

i think I read different types of books than you but right now I'm reading James Peterson's Alex Cross series. Very good! Intense and scary though!
Before this series I read all the Shopohlic series, there are 5 books in that series. i really liked them!
