These thoughts are stemming from work. I know I've talked before about my job and how it is constantly shaping my views on life, I know that I get too emotional attached to my patients and you know what? That's ok with me, I may get too close to them but I feel like I am better able to care for people when I'm too close. My past two teams all but one of my patients have been younger than my parents, all diagnosed with cancer. Boo hiss to the "C" word.
Anyways, back to my little celebrating tangent. Talking with my patients, I have never heard any of them say "damn, I wish I didn't celebrate more." I really don't know much more to say other than I think we need to celebrate life.
Tim McGraw sang it right in his song:

Great post! It is wonderful to celebrate the small things, and would help us be more appreciative of all the small, yet wonderful parts of life :)
