Still Alive

I am in fact still alive. I haven't posted in forever--things in Florida have been super hectic. First, I have finished up my peds and psych rotation, woo-hoo!! I got a 90 on my peds final and an 86 on my psych final. Secondly, I am on spring break and we got a ton of wedding stuff done. It is getting more real because we are booking more things.

I finished up with school on Friday of last week 3/5 and drove to Orlando to pick up Phillip. The drive down in and of itself was an adventure. On my drive to Orlando, I got stuck in 45 minutes of stand still traffic. Literally, we traveled 1 mile in 45 minutes--I was hungry and grumpy. Then I met Phillip at his place and loaded everything into his car and away we went. An hour outside of Orlando at 7pm, we got a flat tire. We couldn't get the ludnuts (sp?) loose because they had just rotated the tires on Sunday and were on too tight. Have no fear, I have Triple A. We just gave them a call. They said someone would be out between 7:10-8:10 pm. Fine. Well I am going to keep this story short, but they had to dis-batched 3 different companies out to come help us and finally we got the tire fixed and back on the road at 10:45pm. It was awful. To make matters worse, we drove on a doughnut the rest of the 150 miles to South Florida, we got in a bit after 2am.

Anyways, enough about our terrible trip down. Once we got there things went great. On Saturday my Mom, Sister and I went to the Humane Society's 10th annual walk with the dogs, holy crap there were like a million dogs. After the walk we got home, got showered and headed to the bridal salon. Remember how I told you all I had a favorite? Well I didn't end up getting it, I ended up buying a brand new Maggie Sottero that literally was put on shelves two weeks ago. I freaking love it! I look like a princess in it, I want it now just so I can wear it around the house. I am not going to tell you all about it because that will ruin the surprise--you all can see it 9 months from today with everyone else. :)

Monday Phillip and I drove down to the Keys, we had a cake tasting, yum! We are going to do a small cake tier with 72 cupcakes, the cupcakes will be orange and key lime flavor--not together, one half will be one the other half will be the other. The cakes were freaking awesome! Then Phillip and I went to where we are getting married because he had yet to see it and we had some questions for our wedding planner named Jamie. We got all those questions answered and drove back home. On top of all that, I found someone to commission for our invitations, she is a graphic designer out of NYC and is fabulous!

That's all the real updates I've got for you, here are some pictures from the past weekend.
