Skitzo

I am so bored...again. I have about 2 and a half weeks until I go back to school, I am going to be kicking myself in the butt for saying that I am so bored. I should use this time to the fullest to relax and enjoy my summer break. Tomorrow I am thinking about heading to the beach, how does that sound. I think I am going to set my alarm clock for 0900 and then get on my suit and take the Nood over. Yep! It's official, that is my plan.

I am going to get to the beach around 1100 and kick it with Roman. I think I will bring some of my bridal magazines and just lay back and enjoy my summer. I am going to make sure my camera battery is loaded and take some pictures.

So my plans for tomorrow is head to the beach from 0900 and then get back at 1600, shower, change my clothing and then go to an NSA meeting. We are meeting to go over all the fall semesters fundraisers, events, etc. I get to see Margaret who is my favorite teacher and the NSA advisor, I call her my Mama Margaret. She has a daughter who is just a year older than I am and last year was her first year nursing. I am excited to see her, she doesn't know about Phillip and I getting engaged--I can't wait to tell her!

Anyways as far as the wedding goes, the invite list keeps growing, but so do my ideas. The growing ideas is a great thing, I will be so freaking prepared come my wedding. I love being organized. :)

Aside from my incredibly skitzo post, that is all I have to say. :) Have a fantastic day!

You're more than welcome to fly to AR and go to my first week back for me (we start a week before you)! Have fun at the beach tomorrow...too bad the closest one for me is 9 hours away! Have fun chillaxing and reading your bridal mags! My mom's bosses daughter got married back in June & over the weeks shes been giving me her hand-me-downs! I am not complaining...1/2 of it wasn't even used she just thought she'd use it and then never did. So far I have 2 feather pens, a ringbearer pillow, & floating diamond candles for a fountain. Plus she gave me a heaping stack of bridal mags! Hey I give ya a pat on the back for getting involved in what we call SNA. I'm a member of NSNA and the UAMS chapter of SNA but I think I've gone to 1 chapter meeting & that was b/c they had free pizza...def never went to convention! I'm not the involved type ha! Anyway, I'm off tomorrow so I will prob sleep til 1300-1330 unlike you ha! But, I will be jealous of your beach time with your puppy!

I just remembered that you asked me a wedding question that I never answered. I was in a car and got the question on my phone so I couldn't respond then and I must have forgotten - sorry!

To answer it, no, we didn't send out announcements. We basically just announced by word of mouth and we didn't throw an engagement party either. My mother in law wanted us to have one (only she suggested it a year after we got engaged - rolling eyes - she is psycho) but by the time she suggested it, it was too late in the game and plus I really didn't want to spend money on another party when I could put it toward all my wedding ideas that I wanted to pull off.

We DID send out save the dates which I just designed myself in photoshop using our engagement pictures. I highly recommend sending those out because you want people to mark it on their calendar in advance and since you can't send out invites until 8 weeks before the wedding at most, its better to give more notice.

We had a June wedding and sent out save the dates in January. I would have liked to send them out sooner but we wanted to wait to make sure everyone had their 2009 calendar and the save the date didn't just get lost in the holiday craziness.

okay... sorry this is so long.

have you guys set a date yet? (You may have already said this but I can't remember - sorry!)
