Clare and Henry

Oh my goodness, I got up this morning and watched the SYTYCD from last night. It was great, I have no idea who they are going to get rid of tonight...but holy crap--Jeanine and Jason's kiss. There was definitely something there. That was not just fake, I don't think you can fake that. Their dance was my favorite. That was some serious passion.

Anyways, onto Clare and Henry. Has anyone read The Time Traveler's Wife? I read it for 5 hours today and I finished it. It was 546 pages. It was one of the bigger books I read. Anyways, it was incredible. Just the story is so new, I am kind of sick of reading those chicky books where girl meets boy, they fall in love, their is a problem with their love, then they get back together. This book was so unpredictable (at least for me). I loved to two main characters. I could never imagine being Clare, she loved Henry so much, she loved him since she was 6. She spent her life waiting for him and he loved her. Oh I cried at the end. It was such a wonderful love story. What I'm saying is read it.

I ran! I got my big butt out of the house and went for a run today. I started my run doing all the little intricate loops to make my run longer, but then I hit the end of the outside of the back neighborhood and realized there was a trail along the main road that would lead me back to the front of my neighborhood--so I took it. Well holy crap, it was so much further than I had thought, not to mention that I turned down all the little side streets before I hit the main road. Needless to say I ran 2:1 for the first 21 minutes, then 1:1 for the next 6 then I walked the as 12. Yeah...I wanted to go out for a nice 25 minute run. Whatever, I ran. :)

Anyways, that's all I've got for you. Read the book!

That sounds like a great book. I know I need to read more. I do I do. Good work on the run! You're out there and making the effort, and that's what counts.

is that book good?! I REALLY want to go see the movie since Rachel McAdams is in it and saw that is was based on a book. So of course, bookworm I am, decided I HAVE to read it.

Woot to the running! You have more motivation than I do, that's for sure.

I was just saying on my facebook that I can TOTALLY relate to the Time Traveler's Wife and it is almost scary how much I do.
The preface part about waiting and doing life alone, and why does he have to go where she cannot follow, is 100% how a military wife feels!!!
